This is an ongoing project, which will result in the publication of a comparative study of the impact of gender politics in works by two daughters of the Enlightenment from opposite socio-economic backgrounds. The purpose of the study is to shed light on possible intersections between the politics of gender and class and the discourse of equality of the Enlightenment, a topic which is currently being debated among scholars in the fields of Women's Studies and 18th Century Studies.
