Description
This volume is a collection of closely related chapters addressing aspects of equity in relation to testing deaf and hard of hearing adults. Emphasis in many chapters is the impact on professional licensure and certification testing on deaf adults in various professions. Other chapters address postsecondary and graduate school testing and access as well as legal perspectives, psychological testing, and interpreting test material. The nature of the problem is explicated, research is discussed, and possible solutions are explored. This book was published in December 2005.
