| Status: Ongoing | Begin date: October, 2002 | End date: November, 2006 |
Description
This analysis will explore the efforts of three French deaf biographers to find themselves as individuals and as artists and to cross the cultural divide between themselves and the mainstream society by means of their biographical studies of others. The authors included are Jean-Ferdinand Berthier (1803-1886), Yvonne Pitrois (1880-1937), and Corinne Rocheleau-Rouleau (1881-1963).
