Bullying and Victimization Among Middle School Students at Three Schools for the Deaf: Program Implications

Description

Bullying and relational aggression among students in schools for the deaf have long been concerns for administrators and teachers. This study endeavored to determine how common such behavior is among deaf children. The study was conducted at several educational programs for deaf children on the East Coast. Sixth to eighth grade students were surveyed for the purpose of identifying the level of physical and relational aggression occurring among middle school-aged deaf youth in schools for the deaf.
